The Park Avenue House is a private hospitality property in Indianapolis, Indiana, operated by Park Avenue House Hospitality LLC. This policy applies to reservations made directly through parkavenuehouse.com unless different terms are expressly stated in a written proposal, booking confirmation, or Rental Agreement.

Reservations

A reservation is not confirmed until the required initial payment has been successfully processed and any required Rental Agreement has been completed.

Rates, availability, minimum stays, occupancy limits, taxes, fees, and other booking requirements may vary by date and reservation type. The terms displayed at the time of booking will apply to that reservation.

Payment Schedule

Unless different terms are presented during booking:

• 50% of the reservation total is due at the time of booking.

• The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival.

• Reservations made within 30 days of arrival are due in full at the time of booking.

The Park Avenue House may establish different payment schedules for corporate retreats, private dinners, meetings, extended stays, or other custom gatherings. When different terms apply, they will be stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, confirmation, or Rental Agreement.

Cancellation by the Guest

Unless different cancellation terms are disclosed at the time of booking:

60 or more days before arrival:
Payments received will be refunded, less any non-refundable processing charges specifically disclosed at booking.

30–59 days before arrival:
50% of the total reservation amount is refundable.

Fewer than 30 days before arrival:
The reservation is non-refundable.

No-shows, early departures, reductions in the number of guests, or unused portions of a reservation do not qualify for a refund.

Reservation Changes

Requests to change reservation dates are subject to availability and approval. A change in dates may result in a change in price.

The Park Avenue House may, at its discretion, permit amounts already paid to be applied to a rescheduled reservation. Approval of one date change does not create an obligation to approve future changes.

Corporate and Custom Gatherings

Corporate retreats, private dinners, meetings, hosted events, and other customized gatherings may involve catering, staffing, rentals, transportation, entertainment, or other third-party commitments.

Once those expenses have been committed on behalf of a guest, they may become non-refundable regardless of the general cancellation schedule above. Any such terms will be communicated before the applicable expense is incurred whenever reasonably practicable.

Weather and Travel Disruptions

Weather, airline disruptions, road conditions, illness, changes in business plans, and other circumstances affecting a guest's ability to travel do not automatically make a reservation refundable.

Guests are encouraged to consider appropriate travel insurance when circumstances warrant.

If the property itself becomes unavailable or materially unsuitable for the reserved stay through no fault of the guest, The Park Avenue House will work with the guest to reschedule the reservation or refund amounts paid for the unavailable accommodation.

Cancellation by The Park Avenue House

In the unusual event that The Park Avenue House must cancel a reservation and cannot provide the reserved accommodation or a mutually acceptable alternative date, amounts paid directly to The Park Avenue House for the cancelled reservation will be refunded.

The Park Avenue House is not responsible for consequential expenses such as airfare, transportation, outside lodging, or other costs incurred separately by the guest.

Security Deposits, Damages, and Additional Charges

Certain reservations may require a security deposit, damage authorization, or other security arrangement.

Guests are responsible for damage, excessive cleaning, unauthorized guests or activities, missing property, and other charges as provided in the Rental Agreement.

Refund Timing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times are determined in part by the guest's financial institution and payment provider.

Rental Agreement Controls

Direct reservations may require acceptance of a separate Rental Agreement.

If a provision of the Rental Agreement, written proposal, or booking confirmation conflicts with this general policy, the reservation-specific written agreement will control.
